Benone Getaways – Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Benone Getaways (BG). We look forward to welcoming you. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully, as they form part of your booking agreement. By making a reservation, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

General Information

Benone Getaways operates a strict residents-only policy. Only registered guests are permitted on the premises. If this policy is breached, management reserves the right to refuse entry, terminate the booking without refund, and retain the damage deposit where applicable.

The pods within the main Glamping Village accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years) or 3 adults.
The Binevenagh Hideaway XL Pod accommodates a maximum of 4 adults or 3 adults and up to 3 children, subject to the maximum occupancy permitted.
A third adult staying in a glamping pod will incur an additional charge of £30 per stay.
Children aged 0–3 years stay free of charge; however, bedding is not provided. Children aged 4–12 years are charged £7.50 per child, which includes a bed linen pack.
The Beach House apartments accommodate a maximum of 6 guests.
The Studio apartment accommodates a maximum of 5 guests.
CCTV operates throughout the car park and communal areas for the safety and security of guests and the property. Benone Getaways reserves the right to retain and share CCTV footage with the relevant authorities where criminal damage, theft, or a serious breach of these Terms and Conditions is suspected.
The site is protected by a secure electronic barrier.
Benone Getaways operates a self-check-in system.

Glamping guests will receive a key to their accommodation together with two access fobs: one for the security barrier and one for the Glamping Village gate. These will be available in the designated lockbox outside the Glamping Village entrance.
Guests staying in the self-catering apartments will find their accommodation keys and security barrier fob within the key safe provided at the apartment.

Accommodation must only be used for private holiday purposes by the registered guests named on the booking.
All accommodation prices include electricity and heating. Benone Getaways reserves the right to recover additional costs where utilities have been used irresponsibly or excessively.
Benone Getaways accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft, damage or injury to guests, their visitors, vehicles or personal belongings while on the premises, except where required by law.
Children must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.

Arrival and Departure

Standard check-in: From 4:00 pm.
Early check-in (Glamping only): From 2:00 pm, subject to availability and an additional charge.
Check-out: By 10:30 am on the day of departure.
Late check-out (Glamping only): Until 12:00 noon, subject to availability and an additional charge.

Online Reservations

Online bookings made through the Benone Getaways website are processed securely via our approved booking partner.
Guests will receive an email requesting pre-payment 7 days prior to arrival, where applicable.

Payments

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm and secure your booking.
Online payments are processed securely via Stripe, while telephone payments are processed using our secure card payment system.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 24 hours before your arrival using the secure payment link provided.
A £100.00 damage deposit is also required and must be paid using the secure payment link before arrival.
Failure to pay the outstanding balance and damage deposit by the specified deadline may result in your booking being cancelled and the accommodation being released for resale. This decision is at the discretion of Benone Getaways.

Damage Deposit

A £100.00 damage deposit is required for each glamping pod and self-catering apartment.

The damage deposit may be used to cover, but is not limited to:

Unauthorised access granted to non-residents.
Damage to accommodation, hot tubs, the BBQ Hut, gardens or communal areas.
Damage to furniture, fixtures, fittings or contents.
Missing or stolen items, including bathrobes and other supplied amenities.
Additional cleaning costs resulting from excessive mess, staining, misuse or negligence, including the use of fake tan in hot tubs.

Guests are responsible for leaving the accommodation, outdoor areas, furniture and facilities in the same condition as they were found. Benone Getaways reserves the right to deduct the cost of repairs, replacement items or additional cleaning from the damage deposit where damage or excessive cleaning is required due to careless, negligent or irresponsible behaviour.

Self-check-in instructions will be issued by email at least 12 hours before arrival, once all outstanding payments have been received.

The damage deposit will normally be refunded on the afternoon of departure following a satisfactory inspection of the accommodation.

Please note that refunds may take 5–7 working days to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card provider.

Cancellation Policy

BG operates a NON-REFUNDABLE cancellation policy.

If you need to cancel a reservation for any reason, you must notify BG by email.

Guests, who have notified BG in writing at least 14 days prior to arrival date, may rebook another date (dates can only be moved once), subject to availability.

Alternatively, a voucher will be issued valid for 6 months from the original booking date.

If you fail to arrive at Benone Getaways to enjoy your staycation, then you are liable for the full cost of the booking.

Group bookings

Group bookings should complete the group booking form, detailing all relevant information.

Pre-Check in via email, members of the group will be required to provide their car registrations.

Gift Vouchers (GV)

Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.

Reservations using a voucher can be made online or via email.

BG cannot accept responsibility for the loss or theft of GV.

Gift vouchers are not replaceable if lost, damaged, stolen or expired and are void, if altered photocopied or reproduced

GV are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Our Christmas Deal Gift Vouchers stays are valid for 6 months from the date purchased.

Vouchers will NOT be extended.

In the event that the value of the GV does not cover the full amount of the cost of the reservation, the balance must be paid by the redeemer to BG in cash, by credit/debit card online or by card payment over the phone.

Hot Tubs

All Hot Tubs are for recommended for ADULTS ONLY.

Binevenagh Hideaway’, ‘Dunluce’, ‘Carrick-a-Rede’, 'Whiterocks' and ‘Causeway’ have their own private hot tubs, which are for GUESTS ONLY.

All guests must shower before using the hot tub.

Fake tan is strictly prohibited in the hot tub.

If a guest enters the hot tub wearing fake tan, the management reserve the right to automatically deduct £50.00 from the damage deposit to cover replacement of filters and additional cleaning costs.

Private hot tub is available for unlimited use between the hours of 10:00am and 10:00pm, except during cleaning cycle.

Hot tubs are to be used at guests own risk. Please consult your doctor if you have any medical conditions that would prohibit use of a hot tub.

Glass wear is not allowed in the hot tub. Guests must use plastic tumblers that are provided.

No E cigarettes/ drugs/ smoking in the hot tubs.

The Chill & Grill BBQ Hut

The Chill and Grill BBQ Hut can be used by glamping residents only.

The BBQ Hut is open from 10.00am onwards

Guests wishing to use the BBQ Hut must purchase a bag of charcoal - £10.

Only charcoal provided by Benone Getaways can be used.

DO NOT use logs or firewood on the BBQ.

Children in the BBQ hut must be always under adult supervision.

Fire pits

Only logs purchased from BG can be used in the fire pits.

Fire pits must NOT be moved.

Cleaning

Guests must leave the accommodation in a reasonably clean and tidy condition.

Guests must properly clean and put away all dishes, before departure.

All used towels to be placed in shower prior to departure to allow for housekeeping change over.

After checking out, the team will complete an inspection and reserve the right to withhold some or all the damage deposit, if additional cleaning or laundry costs are incurred. (e.g., if the pod or apartment is left in an untidier than normal state or linens are stained with red wine or fake tan).

Travel cots

Travel cots for small children are available at no extra cost for the apartments.

Guests must bring your own bedding and pillow for the travel cot, as these are not supplied for hygiene reasons.

Travel cots are not provided in the Glamping Village.

Dog Policy

Dogs are strictly prohibited in the Glamping Village and the Beach House.

House-trained dogs ‘may’ be allowed in the Studio apartment.

A request must be made and accepted prior to arrival.

Dogs are strictly not allowed on furniture.

Any damage caused by your pet will be deduct from the damage deposit.

Additional cleaning costs, if necessary, will be deducted from the damage deposit.

Dogs MUST be kept on their lead, while entering or exiting the site.

Any dog foul must be lifted by the owner and disposed in the bins provided.
Dogs must be kept in a cage (provided by yourself) if they are left unsupervised.

Guest behavior and Noise

It is important that all our guests can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay at Benone Getaways. Guests must be mindful and respectful of other guests and therefore keep music and conversations at a reasonable level.

From 11:00pm onwards it is ‘quiet time’ within the site

BG reserves the right to ask guest(s) exhibiting unacceptable or antisocial behavior to leave the site. In these circumstances, there will be no reimbursement of damage deposit.

Smoking is not allowed inside any of the accommodation, including the BBQ Hut and hot tubs.

Extreme weather and traffic

BG does not hold any responsibility for guests who are unable to attend due to extreme weather or traffic conditions. If you are unable to attend due to adverse weather or travel issues, you will be liable for the full cost of your stay and an alternative date will not be given. Please ensure you have full holiday/travel insurance to cover such circumstances.
